   I have the Runway backstage version of this kit, which is exactly the same except the case is black. I got it on sale in store for 15 bucks because it was the last one they had. This kit pretty much have everything you need for a not too complicated make up session. I carry it in my purse when I travel, use it for touch ups throughout the day. My favorites: The eye shadows are really great. They come in all the colors you need, and have a silky texture that easily blends. There is not really a matte color, all the colors have at least a little glitter/metallic. That doesn’t really bother me though. The palette is wonderful and versatile. All the colors go together well. Ever since I got this, I stopped using my individually purchased, more expensive shadows. They WILL stay on even when I don’t use primer. (Tip: when I don’t have primer available, I just rub a little of the neutral colored lip gloss on my eyelids, and the shadow stays on just the same). I use either my fingers or the sponge tips to apply the shadow. These shadows are also very sturdy. I dropped the entire box once, and only one shadow broke. The rest of them stayed in their place like nothing happened. This is what makes this a great travel kit. The mirror is huge and very very useful. It does get dusty from the eye shadows though. This is cool too: The lip gloss. They are nice and soft, and make my lips feel pretty good. There is a range of colors. My favorite is the red with a little bit of gold in it. It looks absolutely gorgeous in dimmer lighting. However, the amount is not ample, and I have to think twice before using it because of that. The lip gloss brushes are hard and digs out a chunk whenever I dip it in, so I just use my finger tips. These lip glosses are really just little samples. The blushes are awesome. All four colors are useful depending on what look you’re going for. They are kind of light though, and I have to apply quite a bit to achieve a desired effect. Maybe it’s because I’m Asian? Does that matter? I don’t know…Annnnywayyy… Not my favorite: The brush that is intended for the blush and bronzer is pretty much useless. It is small and just doesnt hold the powder very well. All three powder has shimmer in it, which is cool but I would prefer at least one non-shimmery powder. Over all: This kit is a good purchase. It provides a compilation of high quality make up at a low price, and it is very portable. I feel happy whenever I pull out all the compartments and get ready to get made up. It transforms into a little makeup desk, in a way. I feel really attached to mine, and I think I will continue buying this kit if they come out with different versions.
